We docked in the northern Israeli port of Haifa. Haifa is dominated by mount Carmel. On the slopes of the mount are the headquarters of the Baha'i faith, and a number of other buildings of religious importance.

	We took a bus inland where we visited a number of sites around the Sea of Galilee (actually a large fresh water lake). We started with Capernaum  where Jesus and his fisherman friends lived and taught.
	We visited the mount of the Beatitudes, where tradition holds the Sermon on the Mount to have been preached.
	We ended up in Nazareth and the Church of the Annunciation .
