After four days at sea, hugging the coast to avoid Wilma, we pulled in to San Juan, Puerto Rico at dawn. We saw El Morro from our veranda as we pulled in and docked in the heart of the old city. Later we walked the streets, many of them still paved with blue ceramic bricks which had been ballast on old sailing ships. We visited El Morro and San Cristobal fortresses, and enjoyed the riot of pastel colors.
