Wherever we went, we found ourselves looking up. The ceilings were fascinating! We found ourselves pointing our cameras upwards a lot of the time. Here is a selection of what we saw.

The following panorama of the ceiling of the Royal Chapel at Fontainebleau was unplanned. We took four pictures of the ceiling and later realized that they fit together. That's why it looks sort of curved.
