The southern coast of
Brittany is the department of Morbihan, named for the large gulf which makes it
another major tourist destination. This calm lagoon dotted with dozens of
islands is perfect for sailing, kayaking or just enjoying the views.
When we were there it was raining hard. This picture is from a tourist
brochure. It seemed to look like this, but we can't swear to it.
We did have a break in the weather when we visited the city of Vannes
and another when we visited the megalithic monuments at Carnac,
so we do have pictures of those.
