Paris! The city of light! Fritz lived here as a boy, and later lived and worked in Paris for a couple of years. One of his affectations is to consider Paris his home town.

On this trip we saw two very different cities: Paris from a car, and Paris on foot. Paris in a car is a series of clogged streets and quick navigational decisions, a fruitless search for a parking place, and quick snapshots through the windshield. Paris on foot is long boulevards, interesting buildings, fabulous shop windows and glorious monuments.
