Iceberg off the Port Bow!

Cruising from Nuuk on the west coast of Greenland to Reykjavik, Iceland was a two day journey. It took us south, around the tip of Greenland, known as Cape Farewell. Icebergs calved from the Greenland icecap drift south from here into the Atlantic shipping lanes. That day we came across a number of floating mountains, but one of them was just spectacular!

Zoom in to see the birds.

And so, as Cape Farewell slides slowly astern, we bid a fond farewell to Greenland, and some of the most extraordinary scenery known to man.
