Two weeks in Montmartre

A trip to Paris is usually a tightly scheduled whirlwind of meals, monuments and museums. Paris has so much to offer that the tendency is to cram as much as possible into a one-week stay. This urge is bolstered by the cost of lodging and food which makes Paris one of the most expensive tourist destinations.

Navigo DécouverteOn this trip we decided to take it easy, see what we wanted to see, and just enjoy living in Paris for a couple of weeks. To this end I did an on-line search for a vacation rental in Paris with a king-size bed. We found one near Montmartre, offered by Feels Like Home in Paris. It was a wonderful experience, comfortable, clean, convenient, and very Parisian.

But we did not just sit around the apartment all day. We got ourselves a couple of Navigo Découverte weekly passes good for buses and metros, and wandered around taking pictures and seeing the lesser-known sights.
